Covid-19 Notice
The CDC has recommended that all routine eye care be deferred until further notice in order to slow the transmission of COVID-19 through our community.
We will remain available to triage all urgent and emergent eye issues, as well as help you with routine matters during this challenging time.
Although the physical office will be CLOSED, there will be someone available to answer questions, place contact lens orders, process medication refills, and be available for urgent/emergent patients by phone from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm starting March 26, 2020.
Our doctors are available for red eyes, flashes of light, new floaters, new onset of double vision, foreign bodies in the eye, post-operative cataract patients, sudden vision changes, injuries, and other urgent issues for both new and established patients. This is an effort to keep patients out of emergency rooms and keep those areas freed up for acute COVID-19 patients.
We may be able to extend your contact lens prescription during this time and have the order shipped to your home. If you are in need of contact lenses, call the office at 803-327-1181.
If you have glasses ordered or ready for pick up, we will be doing prearranged pick-ups. Call the office for more details.
As always, we are here for you if you need us. If you have questions about your specific situation, feel free to call.
Please take care and follow all recommended precautions: wash your hands, don’t touch your face with unwashed hands, self-isolate and stay home if you are sick, been around someone whose is sick or are included in a high-risk group. (CDC website )
It is our pleasure to be a part of a wonderful, supportive community. We wish you all to stay well.
Thank you,
